Phoebe is not your regular, run of the mill, female solo artist. This is because firstly she can SING and secondly she can write SONGS. She spent the best part of her childhood touring with dance companies, immersing herself in art and running around rural towns in southern France. A move to London kicked off her formative musical education in the shape of Ricky Lee Jones, Bobby Gentry, The Violent Femmes and Tom Waits, these influences carry heavily in her smoky voice and narrative lyrics. Phoebe's most recent vocal flirtations have brought about collaborations with Icelandic producer and artist Bardi and Brixton's finest Basement Jaxx. She is currently working on her debut solo record.
